The project will establish a channel of communication and interaction between the intelligent television, (directly or through a proxy universal adapter), the mobile device of a user and the content servers used by television entertainment programs. These technologies will allow the user to remote participates in live television programs and it includes the aggregation of such interactions by multiple users.
To establish the communication channel, a gateway is defined at the user's home that will be responsible for establishing the link between home and the companies that provide various services (eg, a TV studio) and will provide access to digital home services and to other devices present at home.
In order to implement this solution in most households, it is necessary to provide support on this gateway to any TV set, regardless of their compatibility with DH Compliant standards. For this purpose, a device is introduced (called Universal Proxy adapter), which is responsible for providing access to home services and digital TV receiver of any type.
For households with more than one TV, a universal proxy adapter must be used that supports DH Compliant. The gateway will be able to service all adapters (and the rest of devices). By restricting the required performance of the universal proxy to the minimum necessary it lowers its cost and allows higher penetration of the solution into the digital home market and the inclusion of all TV sets in the house.

This would be achieved by developing different applications with DHCompliant technology with the DHCompliant adapter embedded in each of the hardware elements of the system involved in the communication (mobile terminal, smart TV ,or TV adapter for the stand alone TV set and television Server). This will achieve a standard communication, independent of the technology used by the mobile terminal, that may be different from that used by the TV set or the TV content server. Besides being standard devices complying with the DHCompliant protocol, the devices are self-configurable, and therefore, once the applications are downloaded no configuration is required by the user, apart, obviously, of defining to which servers of the interactive program content TV one wishes to connect to.
Through the implementation of voice recognition techniques and artificial vision the mobile terminal will operate as a custom control for each user, which will be have more functionality than to perform the routine tasks of a remote control. The main innovation is the possibility to participate on live entertainment from your living room, in programs where the system has the ability at all times to transmit information to the TV server including the movement, and the position of the image and of User-generated sound. In addition the advantage of basing it on DHCompliant is that the DHC Security & Privacy module allows the user to set the degree of privacy that the user desires on these issues.
